  Support

a

Community

At Good Neighbors we believe that the best way to help communities flourish, is by empowering them to become self-sufficient. With the help of our sponsors, we develop a strong and sustainable framework for the most vulnerable communities by providing them with education, healthcare, emergency relief and income generation avenues.

Being self-reliant brings about a sense of pride, confidence and hope within the communities that we support.

How Your Donation Helps

Education

We support the accessibility and quality of education for children around the world by providing them with educational facilities, tuition fees, materials and stationary. We also provide training programmes for the teachers.

Health

We provide frameworks and projects to strengthen the health system and enhance disease prevention and management. We also provide support around nutrition and health worker training.

Water & Sanitation

We help protect communities from contagious diseases by ensuring access to clean water, and a sanitary environment. The Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) projects have helped drive awareness campaigns around healthy and clean habits.

Income Generation

Income generation avenues are vital to making communities independent. We have organised cooperatives to build a voluntary basis for self-reliance and also helped manage social enterprises that provide jobs and social services.

Advocacy

Our advocacy programs help children and community members understand their rights, and also influence policy making to keep the government accountable.

Emergency Relief

We provide emergency relief to our neighbours around the world who have lost their homes due to natural disasters or political conflict. After the initial emergency relief, we establish long-term plans for the sustainable development of the local community.
